Exit strategies for  your brand can be overwhelming and intimidating, but also one of the  most exciting and literally most rewarding parts of the entrepreneurial journey. If your brand is akin to your baby, maybe it’s something you haven’t let yourself think too much about, even on those extra challenging days. But maybe on those days you do catch yourself thinking, “how would I even go about selling?”

There are things you can do today, and ways to position yourself better if you’re thinking about selling eventually – even if that day is five or ten years from now.   If you’ve ever thought any of these questions to yourself this, is your opportunity to get answers from a professional:

  • When is the right time to sell?
  • What do I need to do to prepare for a sale?
  • What are the key value drivers that investors are looking for?
  • How can strategic advisors help me set up processes and reporting to prepare for a sale?
  • What’s better – merger or an acquisition? What’s the difference?
  • How do I negotiate?
  • What is reverse due diligence?
  • How long is the process from offer to closing?
  • How can my deal go off the tracks?

Naturally San Diego has teamed with the Procopio law firm to provide a complimentary 4-part series for members to have access to the leading business lawyers in the natural/organic/sustainable Consumer Products industry.

Mergers and acquisitions will be the focus on our first session on October 20, led by Jason Femrite, a Procopio partner. Jason has a long  and successful track record  of representing many well-known CPG brands long before  the roller coaster of the pandemic over the past two years. .

2021 has been a banner year for investments and acquisitions in the CPG category, with investors looking for innovative brands with high quality products, robust distribution channels and stable supply chains. There appears to be no end in sight for the strong deal flow to continue.

If you want to learn key strategies and how to prepare to  properly time your sale to optimize your profits, join us via Zoom on October 20 at 9:00 am to have your questions answered.

If you would like a complimentary 1×1 15 minute consultation, but have a conflict on October 20 at 9:00 am, email Kierstin kierstin@naturallysandiego.org to get your appointment scheduled.
